"Prior to 1987 APCO had local frequency coordinators who worked directly with the FCC. By direction of the FCC there could only be one point of contact. As a result, APCO AFC was developed and Chuck English was the first Director. Each local frequency coordinator was then appointed as a local Frequency Advisor. This photo is of a 1987 Certificate of Appointment as Designated Frequeny Advisor in the State of New Jersey." (Norman Coltri) |
